The Milgate is just a short walk to the CBD you will have no trouble finding the perfect place for a cold beverage and a great meal. The Casino RSM Club has a fantastic dining room and coffee shop and offer a variety of activities such as bingo, music and shows from week to week. The club also has two bowling greens, one grass green and one synthetic surface. Visitors are always welcome to enjoy the facilities of the club. The courtesy bus runs Wednesday through to Sunday.
The Casino Golf Club has an 18 hole golf course set in the leafy surrounds of the Jabiru Geenebeinga Wetlands. Also offering great food and entertainment. There is also a courtesy bus available to get you there and safely home again. The club also offers play and stay packages, more information can be obtained by contacting the club direct.

Things to do around town
Take a stroll around town and check out the beautiful heritage listed buildings. Visit the Casino Folk Museum.
If you are interested in trains you may also like to call in at the Old Casino Railway museum. The kids will love the Casino Mini Rail. Two miniature diesel and steam trains wind their way around the wetlands and alongside the golf course stopping off at the Old Casino Railway Museum.
A short drive out of town you could visit the Aranyani Bison Adventure Tourist Park. Hire a Tipi for the night and enjoy the many other activities on offer.
The Milgate is ideally located, it’s the perfect place to base yourself. Just an hour’s drive East will take you to many of the North Coast’s pristine surfing beaches and waterway’s. Swimming, board riding, canoeing or boating. Visit Evans Head with some of the most spectacular spots on the headland and watch the migrating whales or the dolphins playing in the surf.
Drive a little further to Ballina and then on to Byron Bay. Take a drive up to the Byron Bay Light House the most Easterly point on the map. The views are magnificent, another great vantage point to view the mighty humpback whales during the migrating season. What a great day out, and don’t forget to sample some of the finest seafood fresh of the trawlers. On the way home pick up some of the local produce, Macadamia nuts, avocado’s and blue berries.
Head North towards the quaint little village of Kyogle, just a 20 minute drive and you will find yourself at the gateway to the rainforest and some of the most amazing National Parks in the Northern Rivers. Border Ranges, Toonumbah and Koreelah just to name a few. Join the Native Birds and wildlife for breakfast or lunch, the sounds are unforgettable.
The Gold Coast is just a two hour drive away if you are looking for that ultimate shopping experience, you can be back in time for dinner.
